Tree takes down utility lines in Springfield

A large tree branch has come down across a portion of Dorset Street.

 

The Springfield Police Department told Western Mass News that the tree has taken down Verizon lines, however, residents still have power.

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — An Indonesian airliner carrying 54 people was missing Sunday after losing contact with ground control during a short flight in bad weather in the country’s mountainous easternmost province of Papua, officials said.
